Hi folks,
Ive had some recent nightmares with spyware and adware which i (hopefully) have solved using a combination of Norton2005 and spybot S&D.
One little f***er that keeps appearing on my norton scan is "rundlq32.dll" and is asociated with adware called "iwantsearch".....
Norton cannot delete, remove or fix this and it is starting to worry me.
The iwantsearch toolbar isnt appearing anymore but id like to remove anything that is a risk.
Any help on this would be greatly recieved.
Cheers,
Anton

Try booting into safe mode. Norton should be able to remove it from there.
You might also want to search for traces of "iwantsearch" in the registry after Norton removes the file. Delete any entry that shows "iwantsearch" in the find search option. Ad-aware or Spybot S&D probably do the same thing so if you're uncomfortable with editing the registry, then try running one of those after Norton in safe mode.
