netscape wont come up in XP

i just loaded XP today (over win98). I downloaded netscape 7.2 (twice) and installed it twice and icon on desktop and icon in start dont respond to mouse or to open command. Is MSFT forcing me into IE ?

nope. other browsers run fine with all windows versions. loading xp over 98 is probably your problem.
