my network keeps actin goofy, it keeps going down randomly and for random amounts of time... so far like 3-4 times since it was created, like yesterday...
now if left alone it will come back online but if you mess with it/when u press the reset button on the router then it will come back on...
any idea on wtf it could be?

What router and modem do you have? You may need a firmware upgrade on one or both because of a bug in the current firmware on them or because they are incompatable.

the nic cards, hell i dunno but there two different ones...
the router is a lyxsus(sp?) it had to be the router kuz all 3 connections go down(2pcs and a xbox)
how can i upgrade the firmware to the router? type in that ip add xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx like how i had to configure it?

Need the brand and model #, not just the brand. Its spelled Linksys.
Just because the connection goes down to everything connected doesnt automatically mean the router is at fault. Remember, the modem goes into the router, so the modem might be incompatable with the router.
Post the modem and router brand and model and Ill look it up to see if theres incompatability.

The NIC isnt whats at fault if every system connected to the router goes down at the same time.

Before you start looking at the whole issue, Can you provide info on your internet connection? DSL or CABLE and who is your provider? The only reason I ask is because I know you can change the connection type on the DSL modems.

Test the local network first. Can one machine talk to the other constantly? If so, then the problem is on the other side, between you and your ISP, or between the ISP and the Internet. If not, then try swapping ports on the router, or try hooking them up to something else, a cheap switch or router. Once you know where the problem is, troubleshoot from there.
