Cant download maps from the internet

When i try to download a map from the internet, it simply dosent work. I can go in my download folder and specifically find the map i have downloaded, but when i go on battle.net it dosent count me as downloading it. i have asked Blizzard tech support, and they didnt help me. please help me.

a little more info please...i'm guessing you are trying to download a map for your editor in warcraft??? since you mentioned blizzard. does it give any errors during the download? does this happen with different maps? have you been able to do it before? background please.

i wasn't trying to download it for the editor, it was to be able to play online, and it doesn't give ANY errors, just doesn't count itself as being downloaded. However if i go and root around in my Warcraft III folder in my hard drive, i can clearly see i have the map. But when i go on to battle.net, it does not show up in my maps folder there. This happens with all maps i have ever downloaded from the internet instead of from Battle.net

do the extensions match??? i've had problems getting maps to show up during a lan party, and it turned out the extension wasn't the same...just retyped the extension, resaved to folder, and it worked...not sure if that's what's happening with you. check that out first.

No, its not the extension, i can see its in the right folder. in fact i have downloaded it to all of my folders and it still will not show up online.

Wait... new complications have been noticed!!!!! I have found that certain maps i have downloaded from Battle.net do NOT show up in my maps folder... Interesting... This is getting perry confusing now..
