Router Question

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I currently have a 4 slot router and then I have another wireless one with 4 slots also both the same brand and everything. What I want to know is how do I go about hooking the to routers together so I can have a lost for xbox. Ive tried some methods of hooking it up to the wire thats spose to go in my computer but nothing happens.

Please be more specific. I am not quite sure what having a "lost" is, nor do I quite understand the relevance of having two routers that are the same, save one being wireless.

You have a couple of options. The easiest would be to move the x-box to a direct connection to the primary router, and depending on your IP set-up, guessing you just have a single static IP; you would need to do port forwarding on the router to the XP IP. Or set-up a DMZ. Otherwise I would suggest putting both router's on the same sub-net so they can communicate as one. Possible might have to do a double port forwarding from one router to the second, then onto the xbox for the second one.
