unable to connect to battle.net

Ok so the other day when i was trying to play some wc3 online i tried to open battle.net and it said i was unable to connect the regular message about turning my modem on and whatnot. i was reading some of your other topics on this matter and the bdnache.dat file deleting didnt work. i also reinstalled and everything. i have a linksys router if that helps. any ideas, please help!!
p.s. i also didnt install any new patches between the time period of wc3 bnet working and not working
