(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Everytime I try to uninstall my sims game, first of all it takes me to the install screen, and second of all, when I go through what it says on the install screen, it tells me to insert disk 2. I insert disk 2, but it says it's the wrong disk. Please help. I need this game off my computer.

in the control panel, go to add/remove programs and remove it. run a registry cleaner after if necessary.

why?

1st of all I tried going into add/remove programs and doing it that way, but I get this message: "Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\engine\6\INTEL3~1\Ctor.dll<UNINSTALL_CMD> The specified module could not be found." And 2nd of all, I need to get it off my computer because it takes too much space for how little I play it. I never have time to play it. But I know that the game still works because I was playing it last week. I don't know what the problem is.

the problem is it cant find the uninstall file. the easiest way is to simply delete all files, then run a registry cleaner.

What is a registry cleaner, and how do I do it?

a registry cleaner is a program that searches for odd entries in your registry, and will correct them for you. actually, since its just a game, you can skip that part and just delete the files. its not going to cause an issue unless you go to reinstall it.
