Computer Randomly Crashing

Sometime last week my computer started randomly crashing and not being on when I got home when it should have stayed on. Well the next day it stopped POSTing and gave an error code which I took as video error. I replaced my graphics card and some other aging components of the computer and went on with my business. Today I woke up to find computer had shut down and when I turned it on and tried to check the system error logs to see if that would point me in the right direction it crashed again before I could figure anything out. When it crashes the power LED on front of case will blink on and off and wont start until you either unplug the PSU or turn it off completely. I assume this is a powersupply problem but I have no idea how to figure it out. Are there any other problems that could attribute to these happenings?
Thanks

It could be the processor overheating. Check the heatsink. If it's an Intel system, their stock heatsinks are attached with weak plastic and have been known to just break and not stay firmly attached to the CPU.

CPU is AMD Athlon64 3000 with a nonstock Zalmans heatsink. Chip temp never rose about 36C. Im thinking it has to be powersupply issues now as the system starts and POSTs but then shuts down rather abruptly. I unplugged a harddrive in hopes that it'd be able to run without it. It is an Antec 380w PSU that came with my Antec sonata case. I'm thinking of switching out an Antec 430w powersupply from another case to see if that is the problem

if you need to cut all power to reset it, thats going to be the PS or motherboard.

I completely unplugged the powersupply and reconnected everything and it seems to work. I will know after I get home from work today. Thanks to both of you for the help
