Can anyone tell me if the CTR 21" DELL P1130 TRINITRON FLAT sould have 2 very fine lines runing throu the screen ?

Yes, I was told that those trinitrons are Sonys with the Dell name.
All their trinitrons have those damper lines running across the screen. I think it's used to help stabilize the picture.

aperature grill type monitors have them, but aperature grill monitors have better color and are less prone to geomteric distortion.
