Processor Upgrade

I was thinking of upgrading my processor, but the manual/website for my board states:
• Supports up to Athlon™ XP 3000+ processor or higher
How can it support UP TO XP 3000+ OR higher?? Either it supports up to 3000+ or it supports higher, either 3000 is the cap, or it isn't. Am I just retarded or does that statement not make sense to anyone else?
Motherboard: MSI K7N2 DELTA

that was the highest chip available at the time that was written. you may or may not need a bios update to run higher, although likely not.
