Build Your Own Home Theatre PC

The Tech Zone has an interesting guide up on how to build your own home theatre PC. Now if I can only get that raise..

Building a HTPC is not that much harder than building a normal PC. All you need is a few extra parts and you can turn any PC into a movie showing entertainment center. A HTPC is so much versatile than a standard home theater system. And in most cases, it can be done for less than the price of a full blown home theater only setup. This guide shows the equipment I chose when putting together my HTPC. Because I went with a plasma screen, the final bill wasn't cheap. You can save money but using a different display source or even using your computer monitor as it's makes a great low cost HDTV.
