Return To Castle Wolfenstien Error

i borrowed a copy of Return To Castle Wolfenstien- platnum edition from my friend i went through the whole installation and when i went to play the game it gave the error cannot default.cfg i installed it in the right directory and it says i dont have it
Could Some one tell me please why i keep getting this message
oh and i don't know if this has to do with anything but when i went to click on multiplayer mode the program showed up but the words were all blurry

You're not always going to get a response to your message. Keep in mind that people volunteer their time at no cost to you; if you want immediate help, contact the game's publisher.
What was the exact error message you got?

Even the publisher might not give you immediate help, from my experiance not even phone support will always help you straight away... :S
Anyway, we really need the rest of that error message, it seems incomplete to me.

you guys dont have to worry anymore i returned the game to my friend and bought my own copy and it worked just fine
