I am! I'm waiting for collectors edition to appear in UK stores, but until then I'm waiting for the final beta in december. What edition are you planning to get?

I'm also getting the collector's edition. Pre-ordered it from gameplay.co.uk (I don't need the pre-order kit as I'm already in beta, I just wanted to make sure I'd get the CE). It's actully a late xmas present from my mum (seeing as I won't be getting it until Febuary 'n' all 
Which servers type do you plan on playing on? I'm actully plan on running an Alliance guild on one of the PvE servers (have 13 members so far).

Well, first off, could you give me a direct link to the item on Gameplay becuase I can't seem to find it. I kinda prefer the horde races except the undead, they look stupid. I'm planning to play a tauren shaman like I did in the open beta before. Good of you to get that many members so fast. There's alot of warcraft nuts out there!

Gameplay don't have any more of the CE available, they sold out on the first day.. and the page is now gone.. sorry.

Damn, I don't know anywhere else in the UK that sells CE. If you buy it from abroad is the package the same or in the language of the country? I was wondering if it was a multi-lingual thingy.

so far as I know, the pre-order allocation of CE packs has sold out all over europe.. you can't seem to get it for love nor money, unless you're prepared to go on ebay or something...
However, I have it on good authority (from Lunch PR, Blizzard's PR company) that the collector's edition WILL be available in the shops at retaill... We don't as of yet have details of which shops or anything yet, I'm just passing on the message.

Ye I got accepted intot eh closed Beta, but I need to Download the blooming thing still. the way they are doing it sucks slightly cause you cant cap the ul speed so it throttles my download speed and I end up uploading faster and more than I actually download... which sucks and takes a very long time

I know what you mean zorg, it sucks, but alas there is nothing much you can do about it... OR IS THERE???

This page lists all of the actual torrent files used by the blizzard downloader (extracted directly from it), which means you can use your own BT client. And best of all, you don't even need to delete what you've already downloaded.. just pause/cancel the downloader, then fireup the torrent and point it to the same directory.
Obviously, I don't recomend that you totally kill your upload rate, but at least if you use somehing like Bit Tornado, you'll be able to turn it down a bit. Good luck.

I believe so... I don't think they are going to produce any brand new clients... it should be all patches from now on.... Tho, if they do make you download a new/diffrent client for final beta... it's not my fault if you choose to download this one.... :P

hi, i was wondering whether you could tell me something:
I have a US account for WoW, and i am planning on playing on US servers. unfortunately, i do not have access to the cds themselves, and so i cannot install the US client. i am in the european beta though, and am busy downloading the english european beta client v1.1.2.
What i was wondering is, is there any way in which i can use the european beta client to play on the US servers? maybe by using hte american 1.1.2 to 1.2.1 patch instead of the european patch? or by editting the server listings to direct me to the american, rather than the european, servers?
I know for a fact that the american open beta client is fully compatible with the release version, as i know 3 people who were in the beta and used their beta installations (patched) to play the game.
If in fact its not possible to convert the euro beta client to the american client, do you guys know of a link to somewhere where i can download the american open beta client, as i know that that client is fully compatible wit hthe release version.
