Morpheus, blocked

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

My college blocks access to the morpheus, Gnutella and various other servers.
Are there any 'patches' for morpheus that would seek alternate servers, or that would fool my school and let me in to morpheus?

try changing the port, it all depends on what kind of security your college has on blocking.

If your college intends to block those sites from being accessed from their proxy, then there is little you can do to get around it, short of getting the college sysadmin drunk or getting him to be your best friend. There is a reason why colleges block those sites, and you might get in trouble if you get caught trying to force the issue...

It's easier if you just want to visit the websites, since you can just pass through http://www.safeweb.com ... but if the sysadmin is worth his salt, then he probably has that site blocked too...

OMG, you are my savior Canis Lupus!

I've been trying to access AOL from school because of all the emails (homework related of course ) I wanted to read. If I had known about this site sooner, I would've gotten so much more work done. OMG @#$(!@ Sooo happy.

If they do block this site, are there any other safeweb.com's?

WOW!!!! what Nfested said this is great. It is impossible to get email in our school because everything is blocked. Now i can actually work in school. Thanks a lot.
