Just got hold of this, as I got told it was a great space sim. When I play however, it's starting and stopping like hell. The FPS is lousy.

My system:

AMD Athlon XP 1900+
256mb ram
Nvidia G-force4 Ti 4200

Need any other info just ask. It's annoying. At top speed, the things moving forty metres at a time, with nothing happening in between. PRetty unplayable. And that is at minimum graphics

44. Good, or bad?

Your system is more than adequate for playing the game, so yes, it would be a good idea to check your running processes for anything that might be eating up a lot of CPU time and memory (including malware). 44 is quite a lot (you only need 15 or so for proper Windows functionality), so go ahead and post all their names. An easy way to do it is to download HijackThis, click Scan and then click Save Log. Get HijackThis here:
