Ok i recently bought this motherboard and when I set everything up I got a long beeping sound with short pauses in between. The support site on soyo.com is useless. I got the prescott 3.4ghz processor with the 800mhz fsb which the site specifically says it supports but when I start up I get no video and it beeps at me. It is not a memory problem because I tried another chip in it and it works fine. The only conclusion I can come to is the chip is not supported. I hope someone can help me.
Other specs:
Seagate 120gig HD
128meg Medusa Video Card
512 DDR PC2700 333mhz RAM
400 watt power supply

Long beeps with short pauses are usually memory related. Especially if they are endless.

Ok update- I swapped out the ram with a friend and got the thing to turn on but now in the main screen it says I have a P4 2.8 processor which is off from the 3.4 that is actually in there. I dont have the slightest idea on this one. Please help.

change the fsb and/or multiplier to the appropriate settings.
