Help with toughbook 34 PLEASE

Hi!
I have purchased a used toughbook 34 without restore CD or instructions. It has win 2000 on it. I wish to install XP pro. Will I have problems with drivers. Panasonic wont sell me a restore CD. Also my display is quite dim compared to my brothers used 34. Are there any software settings for display brightness.

Hi Vdr!
No, I dont think there will be any problems changing OS to XP.
It may be that you have to get some new drivers, but most drivers works on both.
If you have a Nvidia card, you can go: Propertys - settings - advanced - "your card" and Colour correction
There you also have brightness, contrast and gamma settings.
