Help solve my sound problem(again)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

My problem is that my sound cuts off after 1-60 minutes of playing a video game(counterstrike war3 and diablo 2 are the main ones) and when it stops playing sounds the framrate drops down to about 6fps from usual 30. then i restart my computer and all is well, but it happens again and again. I had played counterstrike for months before this happened and it has been happening ever since the first time.
I bought 128 more ram putting me at 256 which easily enough for counterstrike and it still happens. It also seems to happen more quickly after I defrag or clean up spyware or remove a virus, even though these are supposed to help performance.
Also when my sound is failed and i quit the program to open device manager and it says my audio devices are all working properly. Direct x sound and video tests also don't recognize any problem.
The only thing that i have assumed might be the problem is my memory resources... irqs 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 12 13 14 and 15 all have just one device on them and then irq 9 has 7 devices sharing it, these devices are...msp3880-u 56k pci modem, vortex multifunction pci parent, aureal vortex 8810 audio<-(sound card i believe), via rev 5 usb universal host controller, microsoft acpi compliant system, nvidia riva tnt2/tnt2 pro<- (is my video card i think), and texas instruments ohci compliant IEEE 1394 host controller.

All of my drivers are up to date... please help meeeeeeeeeeeeeee

acpi compliant system means your BIOS assigns the IRQ's. When that happens, all your pci bus devices will all show on IRQ 9. This is normal. Still, you might try moving the soundcard to a different slot as it sounds like maybe your sound and video card are conflicting. You also might want to check for some updated chipset drivers as well besides sound and video drivers.
