Geek's Guide to Caffeine

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

pimprig.com has an article on all you need to know about caffeine. Find out which beverages help fuel your late night gaming sessions, or help your heart explode quicker.

This compendium will be a running log of quick reviews of caffeine packing products. I will periodically update this article with new products as I get a chance to test them out. How will I test them? For each product I abstained from any caffeine intake for at least 24 hours to give my body time to get rid of whatever latent caffeine it had in it. Keep in mind that caffeine is like most any other drug in that the more you take it the greater your resistance to it. The method I am using is a simple way to test the product's effectiveness on an individual who normally has caffeine everyday.

Yeah. I could go for some of that. Them chocolate things are pretty crazy too, i hate living in a place where such obscure things are inaccessable.

"This is your 5th shower tonight!"
*Twitch* "Skreeeeee!!"

I love the taste of Bawls. Too bad no one sells it locally or I'd drink it more often

Give me coffee anyday of the week, and twice on sunday.

coffee <<<<<< bawls

Coffee is less expensive, though. Some coffeehouse blends are just as potent, too. IMO anyway.

oh sure. i thought we were talking about flava.

I actually like the taste of coffee. I can gauge my caffeine intake better when my beverage doesn't taste like candy.

the best caffine is adrenaline...

As one of the poor bastards who ended up with cardiac arrhythmia due to caffeine, I highly suggest you always make sure to limit your intake. It may be fun to stay up all night but there are consequences which are not pleasant if you end up with too much in your system.
