Stack Pages??

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

The following message appeared on my monitor when I started up the pc this AM:

WINDOWS message -There are no stack pages. It may be necessary to increase the setting of 'MinSPs' in SYSTEM.INI to prevent possible stacks faults-There are currently 4 SPs allocated.

I have never seen this message before and don't understand what they mean. I looked under help index and came up with what stack faults but it got into config. sys area that I know nothing about.

Is this something I should be concerned about or is it just a one time standard message?

Thanks for any help or info.

oh, thats definitely not a standard message. run all your maintenance programs, including a surface checkdisk. you can try to track down the source if it recurs. btw, you left out one of the words in the error message.

Thanks for the quick reply and link. I will pursue the recommendations and hope I don't see that message again.
