I have Windows Me, Dell L566cx computer, IE6 and have no volume from my Creative speakers. When I go to the control Panel and click on Sounds and Multimedia, click on audio, and click on the volume on either sound playback, sound recording, or MIDI music playback---I get this message:
Windows cannot execute SndVol32.exe, use Add/Remove programs control panel to install. It , of course, is not on that. I searched for it on my PC and no results. I have not added any new devices. Please help me figure out what is wrong.

Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Windows Components > Multimedia > Details, check the box for the volume control app and install it from there. I'm pretty sure that's where it is.
