Stupid Cd-key Char. Wont Fit!!!!!!

i know somebody out there is going to probably think what a total idiot i am but im trying to install D2 for the first time and when it asks for the 16 char. cd-key my computer wont let me type the last character so i can only fit 15 of the 16 characters!
its supposed to have 4 in each box like this right?:
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
but all i can type is is this:
XXXX-XXX-XXXX-XXXX
...i dont know what else to say...but please help me!

all the entry boxes should be the same size, so check if you didn't inadvertantly put a space in the second entry box... try typing "1" on all of them first to make sure that it is indeed 4 chars per box...

i tried it again but typed it in all caps and all the letters fit
...wow i just slamed myself...
