PS2 Reset button

My uncle accidentally dropped the cover when he was cleaning the PS2 and the reset thing came off. Now the light doesnt come on when I press the power switch. I need to fix it by Christmas, Is there a way to fix it, something that I can buy to fix it, someone I can go to, to fix it?.

You mean, physically removed the cover and then dropped it, or dropped the entire PS2 unit? Because if he has removed the cover, your warrenty is void, and you can't get Sony to fix it for you.
Sorry that christmas has already passed though.
