PC on same network cannot join game hosted on same lan

hey all,
I've searched the forum endlessly, but I cannot find the solution:
my brother and I are on the same network, behind a prestige router.
We can both play on battle.net via pvpgn, however when I host a game (ports are properly forwarded, everyone can join...) my brother cannot join the game.

the strange thing is that he & I can log into a game at the same time no harm done.....

Is there a way to solve this problem?

I have the identical problem. I have searched everywhere online and nobody seems to know the answer (or if it is even possible to overcome this problem). I have tried connecting on different ports but it didnt help. I don't know how battlenet deals with connections to games and i was thinking of maybe connecting the 2nd pc to bnet via a proxy (VPN, SSH) thus originating from a different IP. Just an idea that makes sense in theory but is difficult to implement in any case. I'd be willing to give it a try if somebody could tell me theyve done it before and it worked...

Anybody else have a solution/suggestion?

I guess we are going nowere with this... too bad.
What I do know is that I set up a pvpgn server once, and for local adresses I needed to add the ips's in a specific file, giving the public & private ip's. but I guess that is of no use here....
