my dvd/cd-rw drive in my laptop is not playing any format of discs. oddly it will play one vcd that i had. and actually i mean read cause i dont know if it will play on powerdvd of wm10. i have an avertec 6128h1. when i check the error log it says something like cd block or something , not sure at the moment.
also i have an other error mess that pops up when i access my external harddrive. it say.
(heading) C++ visual library
runtime error
apllication terminates abnormally(smoething to that effect)
i can still access the files on the drive. its just extremely annoying
please help me. thanks

this unusual activity of ur optical drives and a runtime error might be caused by a corrupt registry or file in your operating system. to eliminate all this errors, you have an option to clean reinstall your OS.
