can't open any folder

hie im new here...i juz got a problem with my window. im using window xp pro. my problem is i can't open any folder on my desktop. even my computer from the start menu can't be open. it juz like refreshing the sreen and then the screen become empty for few seconds and thing gets normal again. but the folder still didn't open. i can open it using safe mode and i can open any file inside the folder using any related program such as opening a words file using words. so if there any way for me to solve this do pls tell me...thanks in advance...

thanc.i did spyware scan and then i juz shut my pc down...this morning when i turn my pc on, everything is back to order...no more problem...thanc anyway
