Finding Downloaded OCX file(Money2003)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

After downloading my current statement via my Money2003 OCX file from my bank's website for the past year---successfully---, I now can not find the file.

During the download, the download box says it is a 'temporary' file. After download, I Search and Advance Search, but can't find it anywhere.

Any suggestions please. Thanks

Just check to make sure that when you search, you're searching for "*.ocx", which will find all OCX files on your drive. Also try checking the "Search for Hidden and System files" option below the search field. If you have a 2nd or 3rd Hard Drive, make sure to search those, as well. If you've done all this still can't find it, I think it's gone.

This has happened to me before. My bank allows me two options while downloading, A) Download all new transactions since last download or B) Download all transactions on file. I used the 2nd option, and Money accepted about 95% of the old transactions as duplicates and ignored them. Wasn't quite as clean as the smaller download, but it got me out of a rut.

No luck...There is one folder, "Document", that I can't click on: A box comes up---"C:\Documents and SEttings\All Users\Documents is not available. Access Denied"

SAys to move to Shared Folders, but nothing comes up under that folder.

Thanks for the input!! I switched to my Netscape browser and Voila...found the downloaded file.
