Cant detect IE6 or something?

I recently tried mozilla firefox, decided i would rather stick with IE6, and when i uninstalled Firefox and REinstalled ie6... I started getting error messages when tryinf to open certain programs, like Frontpage, it tells me i need ie3 or higher, and even DEFRAG! it tells me i need 5.5 or higher...
Since i have 6, why isnt it detecting it?

Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and download all the updates and service packs it detects you need. This may solve your problem.
