Help - Auto Log Off !!!

I Have Windows Xp Home Edition. Yesterday I Downloaded AVG Free Antivirus Software, The Computer Was Scanned And Some Viruses Were Found Which Were Cleaned. Then I Was Asked If I Would Like To "restart Computer Now" To Enable Full Download Completion. I Said Yes. Now When I Turn On Computer I Get The "welcome" Screen Showing User Names. When I Select My User Name I See My Wallpaper For About 1 Second And Then It Automatically Logs Off. The Problem Is I Cannot Access Start Taskbar To Do Anything. Is There Anyway Of Fixing This Problem Via F2/f12 Set-up ??
Can Anyone Advise ???
