broken ps2?

hi i am having some problems with my PS2,
yes i guess you have heard this all before but i want to know i could get it fixed insted of buying a new sistem.
what happens is when i turn it on the loading screen doesnt come on, so its just black and nothing happens is there something wrong with my tv or PS2?
can someone help me?

You really have to wait. A forum takes time for others to respond, so try to be less impatient next time.
That sounds like an output problem from your PS2, are all the cables inserted fully and correctly?

Have you tried swapping out the cables? Have you tried connecting the PS2 to another TV?
