I am going to get a Xbox but the problem is, My dad isn't exactly willing to get me a TV for playing the Xbox and also won't allow me to use it on the TVs we have currently. Is it possible to connect the Xbox to a computer (for example) to play the games?

you would have to have a way to get the rca video jack in. my monitor comes with several different jacks including rca, component, and s-video. if you monitor doesn't support these mediums you can also get a tv card for your computer. you just need to make sure that it has the yellow video in jack. i picked up an ATI card a while back for like $30, so they're not too expensive. that would be the easiest way to play xbox games on your computer.
