help me , i can't go to battle.net :'(

i have diablo II : expansion : lord of destruction
i installed it correctly on full mode , but if i wanna go to battle.net i can't .
it searches for the fastest server and then there is another window that says : " if using a modem, you may need to connect to your internet service provider before connecting to battle.net. for more information please visit www.battle.net/support/errormessages
But if i go there , it doesn't say anything about my problem 
and i have internet , i can go on msn and internet and other internet games...
Do u know what i'm talking about ? plz contact me !!

i got version 1.07 instead of version 1.10 (all my friends have 1.10 and we have the same game)... and my gateways are: - FSGS : server fsgs.net
- Broodwars.com
- BRUTALCLAN server
- INTRANET : 0.0.0.0
instead of : -US West
-US east
-Asia
-Europe

because someone has to know the answer or even a suggestion. If its a gateway problem read some of the other posts and try the blizzard diablo Tech support website. There have been a few issues with the battlnet gateways not responding. You cuold also wait for negotiatorsmith to answer he is the blizzard guru here

No techies are active anymore. I remember being here about 2 years ago and this place was a total paradise filled with 12/7 techies.

spaghotti, don't know if you're still following this thread, but your problem is that your Battle.net server list got corrupted by a hack, crack, mod, etc. Remove whatever you downloaded for Diablo II, then download this zip file, extract its contents and then run the .reg file:
http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/misc/BattleNet.zip
The file will reset your server list. If you don't get rid of what you downloaded for D2, the list will get changed again.
pza, go to your Diablo II directory, find the file named bnetlog.txt, open it and post its contents.
Insane, you're right, the number of active Battle.net game helpers on this forum and in the Open Tech Support channel on Battle.net has significantly decreased in the past few years. I honestly don't know what to attribute that to, but that's a discussion for another forum.
