Internal Ps2 problem

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Okay, this will be a bit long, so excuse me if i leave out some details. I will of course reply again.

First, I have ordered a color shell for my p2s off of chipzone.com. Its blue, and came with no instructions--even the instructions on the site are for a different model. Anyway, I pretty much did all the procedure to take off my original ps2 cover & transfered the system to the new color shell. However, in the transfer that thin, wide silver tape-cord thats known as the power/reset wire dis-connected from the bottom portion of the ps2. It's that silver wire that connects to the top ps2 shell ( the only wire/cable.) Anyway, it didnt seem to tear, just disconnected from somewhere in the ps2.; and I have no clue how to fix it.
I need help!!!
