Wc3 TFT - Hosting Problems

Hi will be nice if someone could help me.
well , my friends and i , try to play TFT arranged team , but none of us can create , it keeps saying we are behind a firewall , connection interrupted, am currently using SP2 for WinXP , no router , just a Sympatico Bell modem -> SpeedStream , i kept trying but still , cannot create , no one can join. will be nice if anyone can help me , i tried to disable my WindowsXP firewall (SP2) but doesnt seem to be working , cuz if am not wrong , Firewall disabled are still enabled even they are DISABLED. ty for anyone who can help me , am sure lots of people has the exact same problem has me , please try to help us all out of here!!
1 computer linked to modem(actually i only have one comp)
SP2 -> firewall
no other else , only SP2 firewall

The windows firewall doesnt block (i think) but if ur winXP firewall is the only one and u turn that off ur screwed!
U will get many shit and virusses on ur pc, i had it 2: my firewall was shutdown for a week and i had popups until i formatted the whole pc!
So i suggest to turn it back fast on if its ur only one.
I think its ur modem or another firewall blocking.

DO NOT disable the windows firewall if you have no other. Look, that's not your problem. If you open up your windows firewall anc click on "exceptions", just make sure WC is listed as one of the exceptions.
I don't know quite how to solve your problem, but do not disable that firewall and leave yourself unprotected.

omg Turn it off are these people...ehm...well if you want to host you must turn it off i had it off for around 6 months now and ive never had one pop-up otr virus

i have sympatico modem too, ive turned off, disabled everything i still cant host, i think it has to do with modem, because i cant make cs dedicated servers, and a lot of other things.

yo but what if u got a fire wall then wat do u do im really sick of sitting there for bout 20 mins waiting for like a final fantasy maul or weedworld or any fun game that i like but if i could host thatd be great is there any other way then getting rid of router or unpluggin it cause my bro usess internet on his comp 24/7 so please some1 help!
