Madshrimps has a review up of several different high-end DDR memory modules. Interesting to see the effects of overlocking the FSB has on system performance in the benchmarks.
While certain sets ran higher than others setting benchmarks on fire, I don't think we can call any set a loser. Every set in testing ran at PC4000 specification or above, at timings of CL 2.5 3:3:10 which in my opinion is simply phenomenal.
Corsair, G.Skill, and Geil are to be commended in coming out with products that do indeed clock the insane heights provided you have parts that won't limit that journey. PDP had a very good showing with near top overclocking level performance at bargain prices. While I can't say every set will do this, the price of admission might be worth the risk. OCZ turns in another excellent performance from their PC3200EL Rev2 kit reaching 273MHz at CL 2.5 3:3:10 timings.

I'd sure like to upgrade to 1GB of TCCD from my 512 of BH-5, but unfortunately I don't have an extra $250+ to spend with all the other stuff I'm upgrading. Guess I'll just have to "make do" with my ram that goes to 250MHz

I'm completely stocked out on crap RAM. 1.5gb of Kingston. Haven't had a problem with it, certainly not slow. I'd only buy "high-end" RAM if i was rich.
