Catalyst Drivers

This is kind of related to my question in the hardware forum. How do you find the system requirements for the ATI catalyst drivers. I've looked all over ATI's site and i cant find them.

theyre the same as the requirements for the card itself. if you meet the requirements for the hardware, the drivers will work.

I dont know if you know the ATI site, but drivers are grouped by card type. So youre saying that the new Catalysts will be supported by all radeons. What about direct x. If my card supports direct x 9, will it support the updates like 9.0c

i believe all radeons run catalyst drivers. i know all the 9000 and above do.
of course. upgrading your directx is something that should be done upon release.

I know. Unfortunately i had my head in a proverbial hole in the ground when it came to keeping my computer up to date. I have avoided doing it since august. So nbow that these problems cropped up, i have to play catchup.

ok, how bout you tell use what card you have, and what operating system you run.
