can't download free scans and such

whenever i try to download a spyware remover or just have a scan done, it doesn't work, at the bottom of the page is a little computer with a curly arrow above it instead of the explorer symbol, if anyone has an idea what is going on i'd appreciate it, thanks in advance...gem

This could be an issue with your IE security settings. If they're set too high, IE won't allow certain types of commands to run on your PC for security reasons. However, the website you are trying to use might legitimately need to use those commands.
Exactly which webpage are you trying to download the program from ?
