adware on desktops

I can't get rid of this stubborn adware on my desktop, HELP! Anybody know how to get rid of smart-security adware?

Have you tried using AdAware or Spybot Search & Destroy?

If those don't work give the MS antispyware beta a try. It does a fairly decent job, although it's a bit rough around the edges in terms of the user interface. However, its free with free updates....for the time being, the beta expires in july.

Spybot
Ad-Aware
Try installing those two pieces of software. If your Adware infection is particularly persistent and survives, try rebooting your PC into Safe mode and running them again.
