after loading any disk in the drive I must go to my computer and click on the drive in order for it to open up. I want it to open up automatically on the monitor. What must I do to make this happen as it did in the past?

If you're using XP:
- Double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
- Right-click the icon for the CD drive and select Properties
- Select the AutoPlay tab
- Select what action to take when a CD is inserted
