PS2 Problem

I recently purchased a PS2. I am playing Medal of Honor. The game works fine but when I get a certain point and I get killed - the system says reloading and then it goes black and freezes up. The only way to get it back is to reset and start over. Is this a system problem or the game disk? Could it be related to the memory card? The memory card seems to work correctly so I don;t believe this is the problem.

Hi,
I don't know if this will help, but my boyfriend had a similar problem. It turned out that hte disk was actually for a uk model. It was a soccer game and it wouldn't go past the loading screen. You might want to contact the store you bought it from and mention the problem. Usually they will be able to offer you a new copy.
