My Internet Explorer is not working. When I try to open it, it says something about an illegal operation and it will now close. When I hit details, this is what it says........
EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module MSIESH.DLL at 017f:043d44a0.

Other times, the box will come up...the Program Manager is not responding. I have removed my Internet Explorer and reinstalled it and it still does the same thing. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

when was the last scandisk/checkdisk run?
Posted by: deshana
hi danni65,
Run a good spyware remover. Latest service packs and run a program from the command line called sfc.exe. You could always deleted MSIESH.DLL and pull a copy of that file from another computer too.
If that works, cool. Then switch to Firefox if ya want to cut down on Microsoft problems.
let us know this works out,
Daniel

Thanks Redwench and Deshana. I ran a scandisc about a week ago when my computer was not shut down properly and it prompted me to do so. Last night I ran the sfc.exe, and it found one corrupted file. I reinstalled it from my Windows cd-rom. I also searched for MSIESH.DLL and it is nowhere to be found, so in the next few days, I will find another computer to get that back. I really hope that works...'cuz I haven't been able to use Internet explorer for well over a year now. I've been using my DELL browser and it's not compatible with a lot of sites. As for the spyware remover, where can I get me a good one??? Thanks again guys...I appreciate your help.

ditto there Redwench, guy just brought me a HP yesterday that hasn't seen a update or anti virus in over 2 years. He couldn't understand why he was getting tons of popups and redirects all the time. First thing I do with folks after I repair their pcs is show them how to run their anti virus programs and the spyware removal programs and windows updates.
