D2X Lockup when using Win2k Pro

Hi there,
I'm having problem with Diablo II - Lord of Destruction(Version: 1.09B) when using Window 2000 Professional Edition. My problem occur when i'm playing the game, it will lock up without any error messages. But i don't have this problem using Window 98 Second Edition.
Com spec:
Mother Board: Soltek SL75-KAV
CPU Model: AMD Thunderbird
CPU Speed: 900MHz
Sound Card: VIA AC'97(On Board)
Video Card: Hercules 3D Prophet II MX
Ram: 256
Please help me with my problem...

I bet you are playing in 3d mode, and I bet any other 3d games you play lock up as well.
Get service pack 2, or search microsoft's site for the 'largepageminimum' hotfix.

The 'largepageminimum' works! I have no more lockup when play d2x!
