memory prob

when i power up my pc the memory test just keeps running can i disable this or just stop it any help please

You should be able to press the "Del" key when your PC is booting (or whatever key you need to press) and this will let you into your PC's BIOS. There should be an option to turn off the memory test under one of the menus in your BIOS.
If your memory test is failing, there's a reason, though ...

thanks for help i got into bios but could not find option so i reset the cmos and that cured the prob
