WarioWare: Touched

I still want a DS. The games for DS are different from the games on cube, most of PSP games are mostly just PS2 games.

All those games AK47 listed have appeared on other systems in some way, shape or form before. Sequals are pretty much the main thing unfortuntly, good money is more important than good gameplay. I'm a bit enraged at the pricing for the PSP though, as early indications say it could be £180+ when it reaches the UK... If that is true, I'm buying my DS first.

They have similar titles, but they arent the SAME game. PSP, do you really think theres a difference between Gran Turismo 4 for PS2 and PSP? Or how about Tony Hawk? Or Metal Gear?
Most of the games being released for PSP are almost exactly the same as the PS2 version of it. Meanwhile DS games, while some being 'sequels', are different from their previous or GC versions, almost completely. #1 reason is, the touch screen is incorporated into it.

Xenosaga for PSP. That's the reason I'm getting it.

The PSP looks better to me. I'm still going to wait for a while after it comes out to see what games are for DS and what games are for PSP. But right now, I'm leaning toward PSP.

The PSP games will not be the same as their old counterparts. You compared a TBS to a third person action game by saying that the PSP games were more of the same (Metal Gear being the game in question).
If you think a touch screen means innovation, you'd be wrong. I bet that you will still see the same kinds of games being churned out, but with those little extras. Mario 64 on the DS, for example, is one of Nintendo's flagship titles, yet it isn't even a sequal, its the same but with added bits. Nintendo happens to do this more than Sony I feel, with there being a line of various "classics" on the GBA and about 6 different variations of the GBA SP. I myself feel that in order for the PSP to beat the DS, they will have to be more inventive, rather than adding a map to the extra screen or somthing similar that would normally only be a button press away, like the DS developers are doing.
Archer Macleens Mercuary, for example, is an entirely new game and idea coming out on the PSP. It actually interests me more than playing a game while blowing into the DS's microphone (Which I highly doubt lets you look at either of the screens), or following some wierd pattern on the screen with a stylus.
Naturally though, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I feel that the DS's touch screen is more of a gimick myself, but I'm willing to see how things pan out.
