Xbox Problem

MY XBOX CANNOT SAVE A GAME! I done a quest then saved, after that i needed to do something else and walked away for a few minutes, i come back, all the progress i made is lost!

You need to be more specific. Is this with every game you have? Can you load from them at all? Have you ever opened up your Xbox and does it have the original components?

I haven't open the XBOX but the xbox can only save the progress from last week, now i can't save any progress i made in the game

Any thoughts about whi I should do to try and get my box to startup. ANy combination of button for resets or anything, Anything any comment?

Can you still load though HongKongKid? And are you saving to a memory card or onto your Hard Disk?
As for your GripperDon, is the modchip one that you install onto your Xbox's motherboard or one you connect up to it? If you had to open your Xbox to install it, you most likely have either caused hardware damage, or you have run some third party software that has deleted your files, or somthing similar.
I don't know that much about the Xbox, but I do know that so long as you haven't opened it and your warrenty hasn't expired, your best course of action is to contact Microsoft's Xbox helpdesk.

Thanks for all your information but i found a cause of temporary xbox problems. DON'T EVER PUT IT ON A CARPET! THE XBOX WILL SUCK IN THE DUST BLOCKING THE INTAKE SO THE XBOX WILL RESTART LOSING ALL THE DATA THAT WAS JUST MADE.
