Asus X series v9400 video card installed
installed this card....
1st problem the mouse would appear on the monitor but not the t.v screen (fixed by putting it on clone mode when it was on dual)
second problem....after powerdown/powerup the monitor was ok but the resolution on the t.v was to big thus not showing the start menu bar or any icons on the left side fixed
3rd problems has arrised after powerdown/powerup
it seems when playing video in windows media player and or winamp the video appears and all but it seems to be cut off
the bottom part is missing cut off by black space (in other words if there are any subtitles they would not show due to the fact a little bit of the bottom is cut off) tried changing screen resolution with no success video still cut of partly on the bottom no matter how big the resolution is....played with numerous settings to no end FIXED
after fixing the third problem yet another prblem arised now video does not show on the t.v but it shows on the computewr monitor.....this is getting very annoying FIXED
4th problem fixed
FIXED the video problem so it will show video on the t.v but only in WINAMP by unchecking the allow hardware video overlay box.... I dunno how to fix it so that it will work with Windows MEdia PLayer yet
anyone wanna know what I did to fix certain issues 1-4 just reply in here......
I have gone through the whole video out problem so ANNOYING

Yes I agree that those are difficult problems, but the answers are in the user manual and on the manufacturer's web on the FAQs.
It is also worth visiting http://www.divx.com/divx/index.php
Are you able to blay VCDs and DVDs on to the TV correct?
Refresh rate can cause problems if set higher than the TV can handle.
I use ATi Radeon 9600 via VCR to TV/Monitor with settings of 800 x 600 60Hz and it palys everything well, i.e VCDs and DVDs but not Real media clips ( as far as I understand it is not even ment to play them).
The VCR between is used to amplify the AV signals to our sitting room from my computer work shop, because the ATi Radeon 9600 is not strong enough for long cable runs.
Hope this gives some idea.
