The game will be available for Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP and Macintosh® in English, French and German. There will be a standard edition, containing the game on four CD-ROM disks, and a collector's edition with a plethora of included World of Warcraft memorabilia. Interesting. I beta'd the game and it's pretty and the game play is ok but I am dumbfounded by it's mass popularity. Ok it's Blizzard and it's warcraft but I don't see the attraction. The zones were too small, the spawns too static and it's really just a another level based Eq clone (getting really tired of game developers following the standard plan for new games). The pvp part interested me but I never got past 26 with any character so I didn't really get to try it. But knowing how hard it is to come up with a viable pvp situation that works (doac's low level battlegrounds were great fun) is not easy so I don't hold out a lot of hope. My own group is nuts about the game but I just got a noxious feeling after a while playing the game and couldn't force myself to get the game when it went live even just to join old friends in game. Glad so many like it and it is alot better than eq2(but what isn't?) but I have had ten times more fun in COH in my first month than I had in 4 months of beta testing. Did you ever get the feeling that game companies put "fun" way down on the priority list when it comes to mmog's?
