for 3 days now my computer makes an unbearable noise. it's worst than a bad car engine. I don't know what's the problem. It used to be very silent before. I didn't moved my pc, I didn't installed new hardware on it, i didn't opened my case, all of sudden it started making that noise. It's driving me crazy. please help me!

you get to track down the source of the noise. if its a case fan, its not serious, although youll need to do something about it. any other fan or part making noise suddenly is a problem. drives and case fans are the easiest to check, just unplug them (power off of course) and then turn on the computer. if its the power supply, replace it. cpu fan, lubricate or replace.

I've had a similar problem 3 times, and it always turns out to be the power supply fan.

it it turns out to be the same problem for you, solve it the way I did: buy antec.
