help me fix our ps2

[I][B]Please,I HOPE THAT R CAN MAYBE ANSWER A QUESTION OR GIVE US SOME HELP!! My husband tripped over our ps2 cord and our ps2 fell to the ground and since then it will now only play games with the blue color not the silver is this a setting problem or is it broken? How can we fix this any suggestion for us ? Or do we need a new system?

Sounds like it's physically broken to me. Try starting your PS2 without a disk in, and pressing triangle, go up to "Console" and then change the "Diagnosis" option to "Yes". Use the circle button to exit that menu. Place a silver PS2 DVD-ROM game in (Any standard PS2 game that doesn't have a blue bottom) Then cross your fingers and hope that it starts working.
If not, I highly doubt your PS2 will be covered by your warrenty anymore. You may like to give Sony a call to see what options you have available to you.
