Two All - in -one printers!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have an XP peer-to-peer network with 4 computers. One has a Dell 962 all-in-one, another has an HP all-in-one. The Dell 962 is designated to send and recieve faxes and the HP is send only.

OK, now for the issue: whenever the HP sends a fax, the Dell 962 prints out a duplicate copy.

ANyone ever hear of that, or better yet no what to do to disable it?

Replies appreciated,
Brent

more detailed info: all computers on network are same generation P4 Dells running same gen XP software. No computer has printer drivers of any other machine.

So after several back and forth emails with different Dell tech support people, they were no help at all, so I came here.

As it turns out I just fixed my own Problem. Under the printer drivers, I made the "Fax Tools" offline, since we dont generate faxes digitally, they are usually reprints for customers, this shouldn't be a problem. Now its a stand alone fax machine thats not grabbing others' sent faxes.

close this topic please.
